Alberto, born and raised in La Emilia, Buenos Aires, was one of the at least 4,000 evacuees and self-evacuated affected by the terrible flood. He lost everything in his butcher shop and in his house, which is next door. When the water rose, he decided to forget his things and help others with his boat. "You need to have the necessary strength and take it easy, there is no other option left than to bend your head and start all over" Alberto says.
